I was just looking through Vimeo and found a bunch of really sick animations by a guy named Onur Senturk.

The first video I saw (because it was being featured on the home page) was:

Obviously triangles are trendy right now, but that's beside the point. The animation is GORGEOUS. Everything is so crisp, details litter the screen; it's total eye candy. Then there's the fact that something different and unexpected happens every other second, plus, the sound is perfect. All of the surrealism has me drooling!

Then there's this commercial for Design42day:

The same thing goes for this one. There is more typography this time around, which I welcome. It almost feels like a Public Service Announcement. It's easy to understand the feelings that he was trying to portray. Very intense.

I really like that he's chosen to stick to a mostly black & white color palette with just a few squirts of color to spice things up. They all seem to be a little eerie, almost creepy. But it's the kind of creepy that makes you want to watch.
