As per usual, it’s been a while, and quite a few things have happened since my last post. Life is taking up all of my time!

First, it was Halloween! I was able to get my costume together, and it looked pretty legit, even though I was missing some pieces. I used some Prismacolor Markers to draw the Superman emblem onto the tank top, and then tied on the Cuban flag, which was pretty much the perfect size. It was a hit in more ways than one!

On Friday the 29th, I was at Purdy Lounge at the beach, and a few people recognized me as Supermeng right away! I went to a house party in Kendall afterward and got the same reactions. Halloween night, I went to Coconut Grove, which was swarming with people in costumes. Not many realized who I was though; they just wanted to get a picture with the flag in it, haha.

I finally got some rollerblades! I’ve been skating often with my friends, and although I’m still learning (I’ve only bailed twice!), I’m having a really good time, and am very excited for the day that I’m no longer terrified of plunging to my doom.

I got to see Megamind earlier this week, and I’ve been playing Kirby’s Epic Yarn, so expect reviews on those soon.

It’s already been a month since I’ve been at my new Job, which I’m immensely thankful for. Speaking of thanks (see what I did there?), Thanksgiving is coming up! I’m itching with excitement because that means my sister Sonia will be in town!
